I work for a company called PRODOK. PRODOK is a small consulting company in Zürich, Switzerland. Our main speciality is Adobe Acrobat based solutions, though we also provide other web related services (mainly design and development, plus consulting). We used to do print work, though we haven't done so recently being too busy with other projects.
I was a graphic designer and then a creative director in NYC, and also wear the
art director hat for PRODOK.
I love languages. I speak English and Japanese...and little French and German.
I'm from Japan originally. Lately, I'm missing it a lot. I would kill for good sushi. I also love New York, my second home town.

Outside things: currently Editor in Chief for a user-contributed, web development community site called
www.wise-women.org.
Current project: working on a book for New Riders about practical CSS and JavaScript, to be published spring 2002.
I tend to buy my computers based on how they look. I have mixed feelings about the Cube, gorgeous though it may be....it has its problems, mainly due to a weak power supply. But I love my Titanium Powerbook. The PCs I own are Sony Vaios, also pretty good looking puters.

What I want to: a chance to immerse myself in
design things, increase my education. Also about group dynamics...collaboration..I think there are all kinds of possibilities to be explored with this project.
What I want to learn in the upcoming months: more about PHP, more about XML/XSLT, and oh yes, I want to play more with Painter.
